TO ALL GO FIGURE FANS - IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: PLEASE READ!

Dear all Go Figure Fans,


As you know, we've been open for almost a year now (we opened for business on the 16th October 2009). We've had a lot of support from the local toy collectors and have been lucky too to make new friends and share in our hobby.


Over the past few months, there have been some development that has required us to plan and make the following announcement, so here goes:


Go Figure Toys will be closing our store front at the Mall at the end of this month, i.e. 31st August 2010 will be the last day we will operate out from the Mall.

Effective 1st September 2010, Go Figure Toys will operate solely as an Online Store, catering to local & International customers. We will remain in operations and serve customers through our upcoming Online Store which will be launched within the next week or so.


I know that alot of people will be disappointed (except maybe our competitors :), but unfortunately business and personal reasons require us to do so.


However, here's the good news: We're building up an online store that is user friendly, with a beautiful interface with various options for all customers for payment. To answer your questions about our move, here's an FAQ we prepared earlier. Please read the FAQ carefully and feel free to ask us any questions.


One last thing: From tomorrow10th August 2010 to 31st August 2010, we will have a closedown and clearance sale on all our collectibles and toys (except some Hot Toys and the Hasbro FX Lightsabers). The discounts will be from 20% and goes up to 60% for some items. Please head over our store to see what you like. The prices will be posted soon, but you can always pick them up starting tomorrow (my staff will call me to confirm the pricing).


FAQ on our move


Q: I am an existing customer who have paid for a pre-order item. What will happen to our pre-existing orders from you?  
A: You do not have to worry about anything. All existing preorders are in our system. They will be shipped to us when Hot Toys releases them. Don't worry about the fact that we don't have a store front. We're still an operating business which will honour all sales. When your item arrives, we will inform you and all you need to do is pay the remaining balance of payment. Once you have paid the balance, we will ship the items to you by courier service. ALL EXISTING CUSTOMERS WITH PREORDERS ARE ADVISED TO COME TO OUR STORE AND GIVE OUR STAFF YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS, EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER. WE CAN THEN CONTACT YOU EASILY WHEN YOUR ITEM ARRIVES. NOTE THAT WE WILL ONLY SHIP YOUR ITEM TO YOU ONCE YOU HAVE PAID THE REMAINING BALANCE, SO YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU WATCH OUR BLOG AND ONLINE STORE FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS ON NEW ITEM ARRIVALS. 

Q: How do I pick up my stuff? Do I have to pay for the shipping services?
A: No you do not have to do any pick up although if you would like to get it as soon as it arrives, you can (email us at gofiguretoys@gmail.com us if you want to pick up yourself). As our business transition to being an Online Store, we will work with a local company to send items to you by courier service. Shipping charges will be fully borne by us. Once payment is received, we will courier the item to your designated shipping address.


Q: How do I actually buy stuff from you?
A: Visit our upcoming Online Store and then follow 3 simple steps: Browse, Add to Cart and Pay.It's like any online store, except we cater to the Brunei market. There are different payment methods you can choose which is explained below.

Q: How and where do I pay?
A: You can choose various methods to pay. You can either pay us through Pay Pal (you will need a PayPal account and a credit card) or you can choose to deposit the payment to us through any HSBC, Baiduri and Standard Chartered Bank counter services, Internet transfers or Cash Deposit Machine into our Business Account. For customers with preorders, you can simply deposit into one of our bank accounts.

To use Bank Deposits as your payment choice, all you need to do is to buy the products through our site. Once this is done, you will need to transfer payment into our account within 3 days. If we do not receive payment in 3 days, we will cancel your order and you may not receive any Discount Coupons in the future. If you're paying through Internet Banking or Counter Services, you can add a note into the fund transfer by highlighting which product you're purchasing.

Q: How long do I have to wait before my item arrives?
A: Once your fund clears, we will dispatch your purchase within 2-3 days for In Stock items. Please ensure you have given us the CORRECT address and Phone Number to be delivered and also someone at the address to collect the item when delivered. Alternatively, you can also pick the item up yourself after we have finished processing your order. If you do a personal pick-up, you will get a small discount from us :). The discount is a Discount Coupon Code which you can use for the next order. 
Please note that items from Hot Toys and other collectible companies are subject to delays. We have no control over these delays. We normally get our products 1 month after Hot Toys releases their line in Hong Kong. Please note: Hot Toys usually make improvements and revisions to their International Releases so defects spotted in earlier releases in Hong Kong are normally corrected for shipment to other countries, including Brunei. This is the benefit of waiting for the International Release and not getting it early from Hong Kong.


Q: If I have any questions, who do I contact?
A: You can contact us directly through our email gofiguretoys@gmail.com. We will respond to you ASAP. Please do not worry. This is an operating business and we are here to serve our customers as best we can. We will do what we can for you but you have to be patient. We remain committed to giving you the best possible services as a toy collector (and I remain a serious and passionate toy collector just as you are)


Q: Is the pricing negotiable? What about member pricing and discounts that you used to have?
A: Prices listed are non-negotiable. What you see is what you pay. Why? Because discussing pricing online is difficult and while we get alot of requests for discounts, a majority of people ask for discounts to price shop. To make things easier for you and us, we have listed the best possible price we can give. Member pricing is pending review and we will issue Discount Coupon Codes to Members once we have it up and running. From time to time, we will put certain items on Sale.
